VictoryPoker.com, the Malta-licensed poker site, has made a decision to take the option to leave the US market.

This decision follows the US’s federal indictment of eleven individuals who were connected with online poker sites, Full Tilt Poker, AbsolutePoker.com and PokerStars.com.

Following the charges brought against PokerStars.com founders by the Department of Justice on what has become known as Black Friday for the US online gambling industry, Wynn Resorts announced that they have pulled out of their short association with the group.

Earlier this month, Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts, announced a strategic alliance that was due to push for changes in existing online gambling laws in the US and create a new online poker room, run jointly by the sites, after legislation was changed.

After years of opposing online poker and gambling in the United States, the head of Wynn Resorts, the billionaire casino tycoon Steve Wynn, announced that his group has signed an alliance deal with the world’s most popular online poker room, Poker Stars.
