Analysts list Top Five UK Online Gambling Groups

Despite the fact that the economy is presently shaky, UK analysts have agreed that the future of the online gambling industry in the UK as well as around the world is expected to perform very well in the future.

Panmure Gordon, the top London brokers, recently listed the top five UK online gambling companies which they think are worth investing in, even though shares in internet gambling companies have underperformed this past year. It is the London brokers’ opinion that these five companies are considered favorable buys due to the fact that they have encouraging balance sheets and their earnings are constantly growing.

The London brokers published their research this weekend which stated that they are of the opinion that most companies traded strongly over Q3 and that valuations appear undemanding. However, they felt that earnings are difficult to forecast with high conviction as countries are moving to a regulated and taxed framework and the market is applying a significant discount to their estimate of fair value.

Panmure Gordon has predicted that the following top UK gambling groups are worth investing in –

BETFAIR – Who they feel is performing well and shares remain relatively inexpensive.

888 HOLDINGS – Due to the group’s inexpensive share prices, investors could expect “significant near term gains”.

NETPLAY TV – This gambling group posted strong financial figures this year and after successfully moving away from problem areas refocused on its core casino product.

SPORTINGBET – Since selling its Turkish interests, it is felt that this group is in better shape than it was before being approached by Ladbrokes which resulted in failed merger talks recently.

SPORTECH – This group has solid potential and has a strong presence in the UK, the Netherlands as well as the US gaming markets.
