Evolution Gaming, is thrilled with the announcement that it has become one of the first software providers to pass eCOGRA’S stringent live dealer specific inspection.
Evolution Gaming’s client list includes Bet-At-Home, Gala Coral Group, Paddy Power, Unibet, 888, Expekt, Ladbrokes and PartyGaming.
The announcement was made in a press release from eCOGRA and it was explained that live dealer operations were considerably different from standard software powered online casinos and it was therefore necessary for a different set of best practice standards that have been specifically developed by eCOGRA.
The required standards for live dealer gaming or eGAP have to cover both software as well as hardware as in live dealer gaming the games are streamed over the Internet in real time from casino studio environments which are managed by pit bosses and staffed by croupiers. Real gambling devices and tables managed by live staff are used in this format.
The tests carried out by eCOGRA include testing for problem gambling and dispute facilities, staff training, anti-money laundering, player information security, operator probity, the retention of video recordings of all sessions, staff access to sensitive areas, collusion controls as well as overall game statistical performance on the baccarat, roulette and blackjack games that are offered.
The eCOGRA review team made sure that eCOGRA’s Total Gaming Transaction Review system was in order and that the Evolution Gaming team was constantly monitoring all gaming activity. He reported that Evolution Gaming operates a very tight ship and that the cooperation of the chief operating officer and the technical and operational staff was outstanding.
Evolution Gaming is delighted that the company had been successful in satisfying a tough set of international best practice standards.
