EGR B2B Announces Awards

One of the most prestigious journals for the online gaming industry, eGaming Review, recently held its 6th annual EGR Awards function which was attended by all the big names of the online industry.

This year EGR made a decision to grant recognition to consumers that served business in the industry without actually reaching out directly to the consumers. The awards were called the EGR B2B (Business to Business) Awards and categories included mobile, recruitment, betting and gaming software, marketing, payments, IT and infrastructure.

The awards were presented on 14th June at London’s Old Billingsgate before 600 guests which was also the first night of EGR’S free conference and exhibition EGR Live 2010.

After a rigorous judging process Dragonfish won the award for the Bingo Network of the Year although Microgaming whose bingo side games are becoming very popular at its online bingo halls was short listed for this award.

The award for Innovation in the RNG Casino Software category went to Net Entertainment while Cryptologic won the award for Innovation in Slot Provision. Top honors were awarded to Microgaming in RNG Casino Supplier of the Year. WagerWorks was ruled the best Slot Provider of the Year after all the big names competed for first place.
