Estonian Online Casino Industry to Flourish

The Estonian Tax and Customs Board have just released the news that a third licence has been awarded for a legal online gambling site. This latest news now gives Triogames two operating licenses. This means that the online gaming company now has permission to operate with its Triobet brand name on two levels – its online casino games and its lottery.
New rules and regulations were introduced to Estonia’s gambling laws right at the start of 2010. Estonia has made great inroads in the European gambling market. The market still has massive room for growth and the granting of these licenses comes at a very good time for the casino group. The news is doubly sweet as the Estonian Tax and Customs Board has also revealed that no licenses will be allocated to non-Estonian online casinos until 2011. This gives Triogames a full year to entrench itself in not only the Estonian market, but also market itself to the broader European community.
Another Estonian online gambling entity, Olympic Entertainment Group, was granted a license by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board at the beginning of 2010 and has grown substantially since then, offering its players top class online poker rooms.
Locally-based Estonian gambling sites are punted to do well as they offer Estonians a point of difference. Although there are over 100 European-based online casino sites available to Estonians, very few offer games in Estonian and none offer deposits in Estonian currency. Estonia is only scheduled to adopt the Euro as a currency in 2011.
