FremantleMedia Signs Online Games Deal

Following an Agreement signed by FremantleMedia in terms of which it will develop a variety of online casino games for MGM Interactive Incorporated, the media company’s subsidiary will create games that are based on many of MGM’s most popular film and television brands. Players in most countries, excluding the US, will now have the opportunity of playing these exciting games.

FremantleMedia, which is one of the world’s biggest creators and producers of entertainment brands, has exclusive rights to develop online casino-style games that are based on MGM titles. This includes titles such as Robocop, For A Few Dollars More, The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, Fame and also the new Stargate Universe series.

Paul Kanarack, Head of Ventures for FremantleMedia said that after acquiring a minority stake in Ludia, an interactive games developer, this new investment into the online gaming sector shows their ambition to one day become a leading publisher of branded games in the market.
He stated further that they were eager to develop the vast range of popular MGM movie titles into fantastic games for online casino operators as well as for their audiences.

FremantleMedia Gaming has gained a lot of experience by developing its own television shows which include The X Factor and The Price Is Right into online games for a vast majority of Internet casino operators. Working alongside MGM will no doubt increase FremantleMedia’s chances of capitalizing on MGM’s popular movie and television brands and thus gain popularity in the global real-money gaming market.
