Marvel Extends Licensing Agreement With CryptoLogic

CryptoLogic Limited has signed an extension of an exclusive licensing agreement with Marvel Entertainment Incorporated. In terms of this agreement, CryptoLogic, a leading online casino software developer, will carry on with its production of slot games which feature classic superhero characters

The extension will enable CryptoLogic to continue producing some of their most sought after and profitable games and allow it to retain its rights as developer of Internet casino titles which are based on Marvel’s characters appearing in comic books till the end of 2013.

Brian Hadfield, President and Chief Executive Officer for CryptoLogic, says that their exclusive partnership with Marvel has enabled them to bring some of the world’s favorite characters to the world’s renowned Internet casinos.

He stated further that it is exciting to extend a deal that has been profitable and successful, both for CryptoLogic as well as for Marvel Entertainment Incorporated. More than 17 slot games featuring classic Marvel superheroes such as The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Sub-Mariner, Daredevil, Blade and the Punisher have been produced for many of the world’s most popular online casinos since CryptoLogic extended the original 2005 licensing deal.

Simon Philips, President of Worldwide Consumer Products for Marvel says that they are pleased with the extension as CryptoLogic has been able to translate Marvel’s popular superheroes into successful Internet casino games.

CryptoLogic has one of the most extensive casino suites on the Internet today with more than 280 games featuring many of the world’s most famous entertainment and action characters.
