Microgaming and Betware sign Deal

Major online gambling software provider, Microgaming, has announced that it has signed a deal with the Icelandic gambling group Betware in terms of which Betware will supplement its present offerings with games from Microgaming’s comprehensive portfolio.

Based in Iceland with more than 14 years of experience in providing Internet solutions to lotteries, Betware at present offers an unrivalled turnkey solution and gaming platform alongside an extensive portfolio of games.

The agreement with Microgaming will enable Betware to supplement its awesome suite of lotto, bingo, racing, instants, sports betting and multi-player games with access to over 85 outstanding casino titles from Microgaming.

Stefan Hrafnkelsson, Chief Executive Officer for Betware, said that they are very proud and excited to be licensed to sell and market Microgaming’s casino games to growing markets and that the agreement expands their product offering tremendously and provides their customers with a huge opportunity to leverage on the fantastic success of the Microgaming brand. He added that they are certain that this venture will not only be beneficial for the state lotteries that they service but also for themselves and Microgaming.
