Microgaming Online Casinos Withdrawing from USA

Microgaming casinos continued functioning in the United States after the enactment of the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act although quite a few withdrew from the states where internet gambling was specifically outlawed.
However, after “Black Friday” which is the day that action was taken by the Federal Government in the United States against US poker sites recently, this action has had a ripple effect and the majority of Microgaming casinos have now announced that they will be pulling out of the US market for the time being.
One of the first to exit from the US online casino market is the All Slots USA Casino program. Other casinos that also appear to be absent are the Casinos which include all Fortune Lounge Group sits such as 7 Sultans, Royal Vegas, Platinum Play and Vegas Palms. A decision has also been made by the Gaming Club and the Jackpot Factory group which includes All Slots and All Jackpots to discontinue referring all US traffic to their sites to a Real Time Gaming casino partner.
The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has made the funding of online gambling illegal although the US government has not made Online Gambling illegal. Online players are finding it literally impossible to make a purchase via a convenient means at a US casino owing to the recent action taken by the US government. This is bound to leave a huge gap in the market. However, operators on Bodog and Real Time Gaming are still operating in the United States and online players, therefore, still have a few options to continue their gaming.
