New Online Poker Options for US Players

Harrah’s Interactive Entertainment, the online arm of iconic US gambling outfit, Harrah’s Entertainment, has revealed new online poker options for players in the United States. The site has rolled out a new free play poker site, keeping in line with the restrictions placed on gambling companies by US authorities.
The new site will offer players the opportunity to enjoy World Series of Poker action thanks to a deal signed between Harrah’s and Dragonfish, the B2B subsidiary of 888 Holdings.
“The World Series of Poker is a pre-eminent brand in poker around the world and this free-play option will give US players the opportunity to experience a quality poker product tailored to their local market,” said Gigi Levy the Chief Executive Officer for 888 and the current head of Dragonfish.
The new deal is another step in Harrah Entertainment’s expansion around the globe in a bid to reach online gambling markets. The group already operates the hugely successful Caesars Bingo.com, which caters mainly to players based in the United Kingdom. This online bingo room is complemented by Caesar’s Casino, which offers players top notch online gambling entertainment through card and casino games, video poker and slots.
The new free play online poker site launched by Harrah’s and Dragonfish will utilize the brand new Poker 6 software, which has been upgraded to meet the needs of players. “The upgrade provides a more contemporary look and feel along with a selection of new intuitive features in the main lobby and tournament lobby with enhanced functionality and usability on the tables,” said Dragonfish.
