PartyGaming and Denmark Sign Online Gaming Deal

Good news for Danish online pokers players is the announcement that, thanks to a five year deal signed between the Danish government controlled gaming group, Danske Spil, and online gaming specialist, PartyGaming, they will soon be enjoying a brand new platform.

Danske Spil, one of Europe’s largest betting and gaming organizations, has spent the past few months screening potential online partners in order to find a supplier that would match its own high standards for product quality and security and has at last chosen PartyGaming to provide them with the know how on how to operate a lucrative online gaming platform for casino and poker games.

The Danish government has put forward draft legislation to open up its gambling market and the law is expected to be passed during 2011.

CEO for PartyGaming, Jim Ryan, reported that this is a landmark B2B deal that validates PartyGaming’s plan to become a leading provider of B2B services to governments as well as corporate worldwide. He added that Danske Spil is one of Europe’s leading gambling businesses that is pre-eminent in the Danish market and that they are very excited that they have recognized their expertise and high standards of business practice. They are looking forward to building a significant and profitable enterprise as soon as the newly regulated Danish online gaming market opens.

HC Madsen, CEO of Danske Spil, reported that PartyGaming is definitely a strong business partner for the company with their world leading products in online poker and casino and large international customer base.
