Moneybookers, a leading electronic payments services provider to online casinos and merchants, has recently issued its own prepaid card known as Moneybookers MasterCard.
The new card will enable Moneybookers’ customers to gain access to funds in their Moneybookers eWallet accounts at all retail outlets and ATMS that display the MasterCard Acceptance Mark in any part of the world.
Newcastle Card Solutions Limited (NCS), based in the United Kingdom, will be issuing the Moneybookers MasterCard. The company is known to be the largest provider on the Mastercard network in Europe and the United Kingdom.
Krya Patel, head of NCS, reported that the Moneybookers eWallet offers a high level of convenience and together with the new Moneybookers MasterCard customers will benefit from a sophisticated online payment platform and have the security of accessing their money offline wherever and whenever they choose.
It will not be necessary for customers to split their funds and preload their card separately when using the Moneybookers MasterCard as the new card will synchronize automatically with any funds in the user’s Moneybookers eWallet. Customers will thus be able to fund online casino accounts with ease.
There is an annual set up fee of 10 Euro for a prepaid card payable by Moneybookers customers. Withdrawal fees are 1.8 Euro while the transaction fee is 1.99%. Moneybookers MasterCard is available in Euros, US Dollars, British Pounds and Polish Zlotys.
