Victor Chandler to Extend Nottingham Forest FC Sponsorship

Victor Chandler, the online bookmaker and gaming company has signed an agreement to sponsor Nottingham Forest for another two seasons.
During this two year agreement the Nottingham Forest shirt will have the famous Victor Chandler script displayed on it through the entire 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons.
The Chairman for Victor Chandler reported that he is thrilled with the agreement to sponsor Nottingham Forest for the following two seasons as the past season has been very successful and he is sure that the team will be promoted to the Premier League. He added that the Premier League receives global television coverage and thus offers worldwide media which will particularly benefit their Far East business.
Victor Chandler’s Chairman also commented that when they agreed on the initial one year deal it was in six figures as at that stage they were sponsoring a team that was almost relegated to League One whereas the new deal is in seven figures as they are signing an extension with the intention of sponsoring a Premier League team.
Chief Executive of Nottingham Forest FC, Mark Arthur is also thrilled with the agreement and announced that they are proud of the fact that they are delivering success for their principal sponsors.
Should Forest gain promotion to the Premier League as Champions it will cost Chandler approximately GBP 6m after his pre-season promotion pledge to season ticket holders that he would pay for next season’s renewals should they win the league. Victor Chandler is therefore hoping that Forest gain promotion to the Premier League, but not as Champions.
