Will Kim Win Law Suit against Old Navy

Kim Kardashian, the popular reality star, is in the process of suing Old Navy for an amount of $20 million for using a lookalike of her in February in a series of ads to promote their brand.

As if this was not enough to upset Kim, Old Navy used Melissa Molinaro, who is currently dating Kardashian’s ex, Reggie Bush, in their advertisement. It is obvious that Old Navy was trying to make it seem as if Kardashian was in fact endorsing the product whereas the reality star has no deal whatsoever with Old Navy.

Paddy Power is offering odds on “Will Kim win her lawsuit against Old Navy?” and has opened a “Keeping up with the Kardashians” market in its novelty betting section. The odds are as follows -

No – 6 / 4

The bets will be voided if spokespeople for both Old Navy and Kardashian do not officially confirm the results by the end of 2012.

Kadashian reported that she has worked very hard to support the products that she is personally involved with and that she believed in and it was for that reason that she intended to sue Old Navy.

Kim’s spokesperson, Gary Hecker, said that she is known for her look and style and is therefore immediately recognizable and that her persona and identity are valuable to her.

The 29 year old lookalike used by Old Navy said that she was really proud of the ad and was honored to be chosen from more than 500 other girls who had auditioned in numerous cities.
