After years of opposing online poker and gambling in the United States, the head of Wynn Resorts, the billionaire casino tycoon Steve Wynn, announced that his group has signed an alliance deal with the world’s most popular online poker room, Poker Stars. The announcement was made on Friday, and has attracted much excitement in the online gambling world, considering that Wynn was such a vocal opponent of the legalization and regulation of this form of entertainment in the past.
